Bowls made out of food waste

Reusing food scraps seems to get more and more creative!

From the oh-so-simple compost to making potato peel chips or even cleaning detergents.

Now, The Foodscapes Project creators WHOMADE.IT and designer Michael Milani have discovered a new way to reuse food waste – Biodegradable bowls.

Yes, you read that right.

Now you can eat your food out of bowls made from leftover food –

How's that for irony?

Don't worry, it's much more appetising than it sounds.

The Foodscapes Project have taken originality and sustainability to the next level. They've transformed scraps of old food into tableware for consumers to not only eat out of, but ogle at – I mean, just look at how unique they are!

But holding dry food isn't all these bowls are good for. Once you're done eating from them, you can dissolve them in water and use them to fertilise your soil.

How's that for innovation!
