VIDEO: 98-year old woman reclaims her drivers licence for all the right reasons

At 98-years old, Evelyn, who recently had her license taken away because of her age, vowed to get it back to help others. When the retirement community Evelyn lives in lost its bus, it left many of the residents without transportation to get to the grocery store, including her friend and neighbour Joyce. Evelyn decided to do something, and promised Joyce she’d get her to the grocery store. She went to the DMV, passed her driving test and got her license back. “I’m on the Earth. I’m here!" she says, "If I can contribute, I should. Shouldn’t we all? And not just think of ourselves?" Evelyn is an example of generous living, and at any age, a more sustainable way of life for people and the planet. Enjoy the video! )
