[IN PICTURES] The winners of the 2015 Wildlife Photographer Awards

Prepare to be amazed...

The Wildlife Photographer Awards, established by the Natural History Museum, is a prestigious competition for dedicated photographers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. The following photos are the winners of each category, including wildlife photographer of the year, best underwater photo, from the sky, and amphibians and reptiles.

The photos are a celebration of the natural world, reminding us of its beautiful diversity that is often forgotten in our daily urban grind. But, more than anything, the photos remind us why we need to protect it.

Some of the scenarios may be harder to view than others, but have a look for yourself and be amazed by the talent of the photographers who offer us new perspectives of wildlife.

All photos are from the Natural History Museum in London.
