IMAGES: Incredible Giant Living Sculptures at Atlanta Botanical Gardens

A new exhibition at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens includes 28 giant plant sculptures...

Imaginary Worlds, a New Kingdom of Plant Giants is the largest living plant sculpture exhibition ever to be displayed in the United States. You'll find plant giants there like frolicking frogs, gorillas, orangutangs, a friendly ogre and my personal favourite a grazing unicorn, plus many more. The largest sculpture of them all is the 25-foot-tall Earth Goddess , made up of 18,000 annuals alone.

Each sculpture is a complex and continually growing living system. I'd love to see these plant giants in person, but the photos are pretty amazing too. Enjoy!
