WE HAD A GREAT 2ND BIRTHDAY.

A heartfelt THANK YOU for being part of our 1MW 2nd birthday event series - In Conversation with Paul Gilding.

Turning the 'big 2' was a real milestone for 1MW and we are so glad so many of you could share it with us.

We just loved how Paul summed up our collective global sustainability challenge: The earth is full and we just can't have infinite growth on a finite planet.

Paul says in his book 'The Great Disruption' that 'Companies will respond when consumers and investors change their demands. Politicians will drive change when we make them do so. ... It won’t happen by itself; it will happen because people like us become part of a global movement where we all come together, in a distributed way, in small ways and big ways, to drive a change in thinking, a change in behavior, and a change in our world."

And that’s the essence of the 1 Million Women campaign.

We're all about getting on with climate action and living more sustainably. It's action that leads to power, that builds our confidence and inspires us to find our voices and to put pressure on governments and brands, and that delivers real behaviour change.
