Because of bad factory conditions the use of organic materials over pesticide-heavy ones is really important, and more action on this front should be taken.
The summer feeling design is accompanied by washed out blues and greens that call to mind oceanic landscapes. Tesoriero has employed 100% organic bamboo jersey for some of the knit pieces. Bamboo grows incredibly quickly, thus it is an easily renewable resource.
The traditional cotton production accounts for 10% of total worldwide pesticide use, therefore is is imperative that the fashion industry searches for a sustainable alternative... and bamboo jersey could be just the thing!
