Beautiful clothing inspired by landscapes, oceans and the overall beauty of nature

Clothing is something we have all been conditioned into thinking we need an abundance of.

Clothing is the only thing about us that we can continue to change, within seconds, that identifies us and makes us original. But, if you're going to buy clothing, why not search for the most sustainable clothes you can find? Especially this Christmas, keep sustainability in mind, as we spend 60% more on clothes during the festive season than any other time of year.

Celeste Tesoriero has combined her belief in the preservation of the environment and natural textiles and is now working with a 100% organic and vegan dye house in the mountains of Indonesia. Because of bad factory conditions the use of organic materials over pesticide-heavy ones is really important, and more action on this front should be taken.

The summer feeling design is accompanied by washed out blues and greens that call to mind oceanic landscapes. Tesoriero has employed 100% organic bamboo jersey for some of the knit pieces. Bamboo grows incredibly quickly, thus it is an easily renewable resource.

The traditional cotton production accounts for 10% of total worldwide pesticide use, therefore is is imperative that the fashion industry searches for a sustainable alternative... and bamboo jersey could be just the thing!

The Celeste Tesoriero website states,

"After five year career as a designer for various international labels, Celeste has launched her self-titled label which she says was 'born through my exploration of what has become the underlying energy of the collections: the romance of nature, and the nature of romance.'"

The thing is, not only are these clothes inspired by nature and utilising sustainable materials and dye, but they are also extremely beautiful! It highlights the innate connection between nature and what we as humans make, and how they should be connected not separate from each other.
