[VIDEO] Sarah Palin Compares Climate Change Science To The Horrors Of Eugenics

Sarah Palin attempts to dismiss climate change as “bad science” like the eugenics scares of the 20th century...

In a video posted to her Facebook page , former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin claimed she is not a climate 'denier', but rejected that climate change is linked to human activity.

"There’s no convincing scientific evidence for man-made climate change. The climate has always been changing" said Palin. She then went on to call called climate science a “hysteria” just as bad as eugenics in the early 20th century that culminated in the horrors of Nazi Germany, and inferred that people who believe in climate change are 'heartless' for wanting to stop economic growth and development for the poor.

The hosts of The Young Turks mocked Palin in a video response of their own, with host John Iadarola, saying that Palin conflated weather and climate in her statements, and relied on several “easily-debunked” talking points. Also, he said, it's the actual phenomenon of climate change hurting the poor, and not the “hysteria.”

Sarah Palin has a Facebook audience of over 4 million people, and her video got nearly 5000 shares. Her post is just one of many within the industry of denial, and I say industry because climate change denial is actually being funded by some of capitalisms biggest players. People like the Koch brothers, or Gina Rhinehart, invest huge sums of money for people and scientists to publicly deny climate change, which can cause a lot of confusion for fence-sitters or those not engaged in the problem.

Take a look at the first video below, which Palin posted to her wall, then watch the video response from the Young Turks underneath.
